By bridging the gap between subjective experience and imaging science, I achieve a precise level of alignment, resulting in a physical artifact that mirrors the individual’s internal landscape.
• Narrative Restructuring | Custom Archival Curation: A specialised service for the transformation of personal history. I take extensive “analogue memories” and restructure them into a cohesive, artistic narrative for private collections. Through a custom algorithmic and curatorial process, fragmented archives are refined into a singular, structured legacy that preserves the essence of the original experience while elevating its form.

My work occupies a unique niche: the fusion of rigorous imaging science with the mapping of internal human states. I operate on the principle that Quality of Experience (QoE) is optimised when an image accurately mirrors a specific “inner quality,” “sensation,” or “universally understood” attribute.

Modern imaging systems have mastered pixel count and sharpness, yet the subjective essence of image quality remains largely misunderstood. I provide the technical and perceptual bridge to close this gap. Below are my current areas of focus:

• Introspective image quality analysis: Utilising proprietary methodologies to evaluate how a system’s output relates to specific human experiences. This goes beyond standard metrics to define how image tuning resonates on an emotional and perceptual level.
• Image quality Benchmarking & qoe ranking: A comprehensive evaluation of imaging systems against industry competitors. I combine traditional objective metrics with advanced subjective psychophysics to rank systems based on true Quality of Experience (QoE).
• Attribute identification and demographic targeting: Investigating and identifying specific visual “qualities” that align with your application’s goals. I help define the “look” and performance requirements that best serve targeted demographics or specific use cases.
• Psychophysical investigation & experimental design:  Drafting and implementing rigorous experimental paradigms for human investigations. This includes testing how users perceive and interact with algorithmic outputs in controlled and natural environments.
• algorithmic development & machine learning. Bridging the gap between human perceptual data and machine learning models or specific algorithmic processes. I provide the technical input necessary to train algorithms that prioritise human-centric visual outcomes.
• Strategic ISP tuning & hardware validation: Providing specialist input on ISP (Image Signal Processing) pipelines and hardware selection (sensors, lenses, lighting). I ensure that the technical stack is optimised to deliver the intended visual narrative.
• Custom chart creation & data collection: Designing bespoke test scenes and charts to capture specific camera data. These are engineered to isolate and improve individual algorithmic processes.
